The Commonwealth of Morrdh is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by Queen Lothwyn II with an even hand, and remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its intelligent population of 8.331 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Defence, although Law & Order and Education are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Morrdun. The average income tax rate is 47%, but much higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Woodchip Exports.

Televangelists flaunt their expensive cars when they attend charity events, citizens are bombarded with advertising from their compulsory minature radios, citizens are regularly found digging for treasure in their gardens, and the government has enacted freedom of information. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Morrdh's national animal is the Morridane Wildcat, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is The Church of Ezra, and its currency is the Morridane Pound.
