The government strictly regulates whale harvest quotas, the nation is experiencing a severe shortage of sporting events, homeless people are frequently charged with trespassing on public property, and jails have become colloquially known as 'vampire houses'. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Moerderreich's national animal is the Fire-Breathing Turtle, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Mördor.
