The Felidae of Meowmikx is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by Mr Bigglesworth with an even hand, and notable for its restrictive gun laws. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 5.384 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The tenet of free speech is held dear, the government is spending millions on renovating the public transportation system, motorists' locations are constantly tracked by intelligence and law enforcement agencies, and most of the nation's wealthy aristocrats are dentists. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Meowmikx's national animal is the Cats, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Chicklet.
