A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

Students are wary of colorfully decorated new teachers with names like Professor Pipsqueak, nude art is becoming wildly popular, tourists need only sign on the dotted line to become citizens, and the "Underwear of Women in Power" issue of The Vigiaro's City Times is sold out. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Manahakatouki's national animal is the Grey Fox Hound, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Popper.
