The Republic of Mamimahobi is a massive, socially progressive nation, ruled by Mao Zedong with a fair hand, and notable for its keen interest in outer space. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 3.519 billion love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, the Environment, and Social Equality. Religious figures have been banned from public holidays to make them more multicultural, all writing must pass a censorship board before being allowed on the shelves, the government has started a campaign to crack down on road rage and encourage alternate means of commuting, and most of the nation's wealthy aristocrats are dentists. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Mamimahobi's national animal is the elephant, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the pashapoona.

Mamimahobi is ranked 500th in Europe and 100,525th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -46 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
