Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Gambling.

The mining industry has taken a hit from tighter environmental regulations, councils up and down the country wrangle over legal matters, people are moving into treehouses in record numbers, and all recreational drugs are legal. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Lystexia's national animal is the Lolrus, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the AoV.
