The Christian Republic of Luziyca is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by President Breuvi Shjoraski with an even hand, and renowned for its public floggings, multi-spousal wedding ceremonies, and keen interest in outer space. The hard-nosed, hard-working, humorless, devout population of 6.963 billion Luziycans are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The tiny, corrupt, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Industry. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Bethlehem. Income tax is unheard of.

The frighteningly efficient Luziycan economy, worth a remarkable 2,273 trillion lire a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Automobile Manufacturing, Information Technology, and Uranium Mining. Average income is an amazing 326,491 lire, but there is an enormous disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 1,820,192 per year while the poor average 29,238, a ratio of 62.3 to 1.

The nanny industry has had a boom after maternity leave was recently banned, citizens are permitted to carry concealed handguns, muscular women are banned from competing in sporting competitions, and a large percentage of the poor live from cradle to grave in subterranean wage slavery. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force. Luziyca's national animal is the bald eagle, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its national religion is Lutheran Christianity.

Luziyca is ranked 1st in Esquarium and 325th in the world for Largest Automobile Manufacturing Sector, scoring 16 on the Henry Ford Productivity Index.
