The Kingdom of Lunalilo is a huge, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its burgeoning hawk population. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 876 million are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.

The small government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Education, and Healthcare. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 15%. A small private sector is led by the Basket Weaving industry, followed by Soda Sales and Arms Manufacturing.

The government is avowedly atheist, voting is voluntary, and the alarmingly racist TV show 'Bigtopians Say the Darndest Things' is a hit. Crime is moderate. Lunalilo's national animal is the hawk, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the dollar.

Lunalilo is ranked 1st in Kingdom of Hawaii and 57,757th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -13 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
