The Pointless Aristocracy of Lord Tothe is a colossal, socially progressive nation, ruled by Nobody with an even hand, and notable for its complete lack of public education. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 9.565 billion enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.

It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Nowhere. Income tax is unheard of. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The government seeks peaceful forum with terrorists, private business has started paving paradises and putting up parking lots, soldiers are slaughtered in their thousands due to lack of training, and Badger is one of the most popular forenames in Lord Tothe. Crime is crippling, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Lord Tothe's national animal is the Badger, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Whatever you prefer, and its currency is the Shard.
