The Fiefdom of Lord Tora is a colossal, socially progressive nation, ruled by Lord Tora with an even hand, and notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 9.316 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded individuals devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Social Equality and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Penurious citizens die from easily remedied ailments because they aren't 'taking enough initiative', scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, teenage fathers are forced to join the army, and euthanasia is legal. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Lord Tora's national animal is the tiger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the klaw.

Lord Tora is ranked 49th in Furry Federation and 107,602nd in the world for Most Extreme, scoring 10 on the Paul-Nader Subjective Decentrality Index.
