The Kingdom of Lonskarvia is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by King Bigfoot The Oppressor with an iron fist, and renowned for its unlimited-speed roads. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 12.783 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is effectively ruled by the Department of Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Social Equality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Rejivslavia. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 70%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, and Information Technology industries.

Military spending is on the increase, political activists are routinely executed, the country is preparing for war, and jails have become colloquially known as 'vampire houses'. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Lonskarvia's national animal is the Dungbeetle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Lonska.

Lonskarvia is ranked 2nd in Eastern Roman Empire and 410th in the world for Largest Trout Fishing Sector, scoring 15 on the Nemo Depletion Efficiency Index.
