The Democratic Republic of Liuzzo is a gargantuan, safe nation, ruled by Frank Furter with an even hand, and notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 15.134 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Commerce receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Rajdopolis. The average income tax rate is 68%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Information Technology and Uranium Mining.

A punitive tax has been placed on harmful emissions, all recreational drugs are legal, kids laugh off vandalism and arson as "just fun", and the welfare administration’s new sweeping authority has forced the poor and needy to shop from pre-approved grocery lists. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Liuzzo's national animal is the zebra, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the zoink.

Liuzzo is ranked 237th in NationStates and 94,996th in the world for Most Compassionate Citizens, scoring -554 on the Kitten Softness Rating.
