A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling industry, followed by Tourism and Book Publishing.

Teams of painters are converting road signs from horse lengths to kilometers, flash floods that dams could have controlled regularly ravage small towns in mountain valleys, the "Underwear of Women in Power" issue of The Astrael Times is sold out, and school uniforms are compulsory. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Limae's national animal is the Ox, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Violetism, and its currency is the Lima.
