The Pristine Frontiers of Liberal TurtleShroom is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by The Party with an iron fist, and notable for its complete lack of prisons. Its compassionate, cynical population of 4.587 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of the Environment, Social Equality, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 91%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Suppression of pro-democracy protests is a daily occurrence, nobody ever seems to enter or leave the armour-plated flying castle that serves as Liberal TurtleShroom's House of Parliament, prices for nearly everything reach all time highs as business subsidies are discontinued, and all recreational drugs are legal. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Liberal TurtleShroom's national animal is the Psy Gangnam, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is environmentalism, and its currency is the devalued WA-Skillet.
