The Islamic Republic of Levekstan is a massive, safe nation, ruled by President Mahdavi with an iron fist, and remarkable for its prohibition of alcohol. Its hard-working, cynical population of 2.887 billion are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The large, corrupt, moralistic government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Religion & Spirituality, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Rasht. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 28%. A large private sector is led by the Woodchip Exports industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Trout Farming.

Adultery has been made a capital offence, Levekstan's leader goes out to lunch surrounded by large men in dark glasses, ethnic minorities are often refused admission to some of the nation's best schools, and women are seen and not heard. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Levekstan's national animal is the eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Islam, and its currency is the rial.
