The government is attempting to impose a new national language on the public, new safety regulations require all cars manufactured in Lemdi to be bombproof, teams of painters are converting road signs from horse lengths to kilometers, and Lemdi has been greatly criticised for its isolationist policies. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Lemdi's national animal is the Llama, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Pict.
