The Fiefdom of Lemakonia is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Lemak with a fair hand, and renowned for its devotion to social welfare. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 1.809 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Healthcare, and Social Welfare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Lemakoniaopolis. The average income tax rate is 79%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Tourism, Automobile Manufacturing, and Book Publishing industries.

Photographers can be found hiding behind the curtains in Lemak's bedroom, the government seizes private property for the 'good of the people', drunk drivers are sent to rehabilitation paid for by the government, and the recently unemployed can often be seen at the local homeless shelter. Crime is totally unknown. Lemakonia's national animal is the Hephalump, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Ducat.
