The Futuristic Territories of Legendus is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Procopius Terafore with an even hand, and notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 1.942 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Defence. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Motherboard. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 30%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

The nation's diplomatic missives are now delivered via sniper rifle, motorists must pay to enter inner-cities during peak hours, students cut up leftover petaflops during Arts and Crafts, and muscular women are banned from competing in sporting competitions. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Legendus's national animal is the RAM, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is unknown, and its currency is the petaflop.

Legendus is ranked 2,485th in 10000 Islands and 120,588th in the world for Most Eco-Friendly Governments, scoring -12 on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness Index.
