The Queendom of Labyrinthia is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Leader with an iron fist, and remarkable for its hatred of cheese. Its compassionate, cynical population of 1.315 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the socialist government, which grants its people the freedom to do whatever they like so long as it doesn't involve getting richer than anybody else or challenging the government.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, the Environment, and Social Welfare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Hoggleston. The average income tax rate is 48%, but much higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

A spate of enforced closures has left 'Government FM' as the nation's only radio station, droves of former desperados are applying to join the border police, Leader has just been declared ruler of Labyrinthia in an international press conference, and a major religion has been named as Labyrinthia's national religion. Crime is well under control. Labyrinthia's national animal is the Owl, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is a major religion, and its currency is the Florin.

Labyrinthia is ranked 298th in Ainur and 108,888th in the world for Most Conservative, scoring 32 on the Bush-Santorum Dawning Terror Index.
