The Kingdom and United Provinces of Krytenia is a gargantuan, safe nation, ruled by King Tristan I with an iron fist, and notable for its punitive income tax rates. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 18.784 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Social Equality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Emberton. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 59%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Uranium Mining industry.

Citizens are only allowed to view government-approved TV shows, employers are gradually adapting to the alien premise of paying wages to their workers, suppression of pro-democracy protests is a daily occurrence, and visitors to the famed rainforests are instead taken to vast furniture factories. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Krytenia's national animal is the Wild Cat, its national religion is Anglicanism, and its currency is the argental.

Krytenia is ranked 18th in Rushmore and 3,000th in the world for Most Influential, scoring 76 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
