The Constitutional Monarchy of Kronestadt is a massive, devout nation, ruled by Mihai I with an even hand, and renowned for its keen interest in outer space. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 1.402 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Social Welfare, although Education and Healthcare are on the agenda. Airport security is provided by private companies, the institution of marriage is held sacred and strictly enforced, teachers are routinely tested to keep their jobs, and the police have reaffirmed their tough stance on drugs. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Kronestadt's national animal is the Horse, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Krone.
