The Principality of Killer Zoids is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by Arabarath Gohr with a fair hand, and remarkable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 16.906 billion enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, the Environment, and Law & Order. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 59%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.

Large areas of Killer Zoids are not accessible by the public, inter-species marriages are ignored by the government, conductors wield diamond-encrusted batons to fit in with their freshly gilded surroundings, and the CEO of Laws Incorporated must sign off on all new bills. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Killer Zoids's national animal is the Liger, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Cred.
