Overview • PeopleGovernmentEconomyTrendAnalysis

The Holy Yellow Commonwealth of Kemelom is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Deuks with an even hand, and renowned for its complete lack of public education. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 3.125 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded individuals juggles the competing demands of Religion & Spirituality, Commerce, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Polis. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology, Gambling, and Book Publishing industries.

It is illegal for police officers to carry out searches due to strict privacy laws, all alcohol is banned, the government has instituted 'traveller reservations' across the country, and schools have extensive counseling programs for troubled students. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Kemelom's national animal is the pegasus, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Roman Catholicism, and its currency is the alchos.

Kemelom is ranked 1st in Conservative Paradise and 1,863rd in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 9 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
