The People's Republic of KeeZ is a colossal, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by ZKee1 with a fair hand, and remarkable for its punitive income tax rates. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 8.781 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Defence. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Kinsbaile. The average income tax rate is 86%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

Religious organizations are being forced to leave the country or pay income taxes like everybody else, the airship business has been driven out of the country by strict regulations and high fines, Members of Parliament operate under a PAYE scheme, and citizens select which government department gets their income tax kees each year. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. KeeZ's national animal is the dog, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the kee.
