The People's Republic of Kazerjan is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Alexander Krishov with an even hand, and renowned for its devotion to social welfare. Its hard-nosed population of 1.487 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and Healthcare. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Automobile Manufacturing and Beef-Based Agriculture.

The government seizes the property of the recently deceased, the airship business has been driven out of the country by strict regulations and high fines, councils up and down the country wrangle over legal matters, and retirement homes are often fitted with luxurious suites. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Kazerjan's national animal is the Red Hawk, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Kazerjani Ruble.
