The Supreme Kanagyk State of Kanag Republika is a massive, devout nation, ruled by President John Mikhail Ralkovisčech with an even hand, and notable for its punitive income tax rates. Its hard-nosed population of 3.275 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Social Equality and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Kiríl. The average income tax rate is 63%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

The government is reining in public spending, protesters are up in arms over new nuclear power stations, rumours have it that a secret police is responsible for the recent spate of missing persons, and military spending is on the increase. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Kanag Republika's national animal is the Basilisk, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Eastern Orthodox Christianity, and its currency is the Kajne.
