The Imperio of Jarovia is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Emperor Uriah II with an even hand, and notable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. The compassionate, hard-working population of 4.072 billion Jarovians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Religion & Spirituality, Education, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Jaro City. The average income tax rate is 11%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Furniture Restoration industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Pizza Delivery.

Jarovia's soft-touch approach to diplomacy has made it known as the 'push-over' of the region, citizens select which government department gets their income tax Jarovic Dollars each year, fewer people are bathing as citizens must show ration stamps before they can turn on their faucets, and violently opinionated speakers can be heard preaching their hateful views on every street corner. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is a problem. Jarovia's national animal is the Jarovic Eagle, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies, its national religion is Roman Catholicism, and its currency is the Jarovic Dollar.

Jarovia is ranked 7th in Paradoxia and 38,311th in the world for Greatest Rich-Poor Divides, scoring 111 on the Inverse Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
