The Borderlands of Iyandels Army is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by the wildcount of the south with an iron fist, and notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 2.233 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Defence, although Law & Order and Religion & Spirituality are secondary priorities. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 69%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Public loudspeakers constantly tell citizens they are "happy people", Iyandels Army is increasingly belligerent on the international stage, funding for education has been redirected into the military, and the new prison system is crowding up at an alarming rate. Crime is a problem. Iyandels Army's national animal is the Raven, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is the blood cult, and its currency is the Kobalt.
