The Colony of Isle of the Vatican is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Jay Myers with an even hand, and remarkable for its devotion to social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 4.326 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Commerce, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Vatican. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

Corporations donate huge sums of money to favored politicians, cats are becoming popular in pet stores nationwide, motorists must pay to enter inner-cities during peak hours, and extreme political groups are outlawed. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Isle of the Vatican's national animal is the cat, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Christianity, and its currency is the Platinum Dollar.

Isle of the Vatican is ranked 10th in SideWalk Zone and 3,166th in the world for Largest Timber Woodchipping Industry, scoring 9 on the Tasmanian Pulp Environmental Export Index.
