The Nomadic Peoples of Iriatherina is a massive, genial nation, ruled by Abraham Octavianus Atururi with a fair hand, and remarkable for its hatred of cheese. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 1.361 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Social Equality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Manokwari. The average income tax rate is 39%, but much higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Tourism and Automobile Manufacturing.

Elevator music has been replaced by thrash metal played at maximum volume, bizarre-looking creatures called 'Featherfin Rainbowfishdogs' dominate wildlife preserves, much of Iriatherina's computer network is controlled by a rampant artificial intelligence, and a crusade against barbaric religious practices has begun. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is a major problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Iriatherina's national animal is the Featherfin Rainbowfish, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Scale.

Iriatherina is ranked 4,003rd in the West Pacific and 93,538th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -5 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
