The Musical Paradise of Indianation is a huge, cultured nation, ruled by Shakira with an iron fist, and notable for its complete lack of prisons. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 806 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Social Welfare, although Religion & Spirituality and Defence are on the agenda. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 67%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Tourism.

Prime commercial land is being swamped with archaeological teams, children have only the most basic of education, Shakira has just been declared ruler of Indianation in an international press conference, and leather-clad individuals can be seen walking their slaves in public parks. Crime is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Indianation's national animal is the Cat, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Note.
