The Inane Ravings of I V Stalin is a gargantuan, safe nation, ruled by Rob the Insane with a fair hand, and renowned for its irreverence towards religion. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 15.427 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, liberal individuals juggles the competing demands of Education, Healthcare, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Lyonesse. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Uranium Mining industry.

Most of the nation's wealthy aristocrats are dentists, citizens may cast their vote over the internet or phone, the government is spending millions on 'trust campaigns' in an effort to win back the public's support, and prisoners work-share to cut down rising costs of keeping them in jail. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown. I V Stalin's national animal is the llama, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Biblioholism, and its currency is the foliage.
