OverviewPeopleGovernmentEconomyTrendAnalysis

The Grand Republic of Hindopia is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by President Tanner with an even hand, and renowned for its museums and concert halls. The hard-nosed, hard-working population of 9.431 billion Hindopians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, the Environment, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Tamilus. The average income tax rate is 57%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Information Technology and Tourism.

Some members of Parliament are illiterate, a large-scale revitalization of the education system is underway, Tamilus is a police state during international summits, and wind farms are erected on shuttered oil platforms. Crime is totally unknown. Hindopia's national animal is the Phoenix , which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the versicredit.

Hindopia is ranked 983rd in Lazarus and 33,467th in the world for Most Extensive Civil Rights, with 67 Martin Luther King, Jr. Units.
