The Capitalist Haven of Hellytown is a massive, safe nation, ruled by The Bank of Hellytown with an even hand, and renowned for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 3.544 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The minute government, or what there is of one, is mainly concerned with Commerce, although Law & Order and Healthcare are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Underworld. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Tourism and Gambling.

Drunk drivers are sentenced to death, college students make ends meet by selling their kidneys, several citizens have complained about scientists abducting their pets for experimentation, and frequent fliers are obliged to submit to invasive security procedures by government security. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Hellytown's national animal is the Cerberus, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Money, and its currency is the hellhole.
