The Technocratic Republic of Gypsy Witchester is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Milos Minderbindervich with an iron fist, and notable for its hatred of cheese. Its compassionate, cynical population of 2.127 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although Healthcare and Social Equality are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Milograd. The average income tax rate is 79%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The arms industry is strictly regulated, children are brainwashed at a young age to accept "Love and peace!" as a way of life, soylent products are an expensive commodity due to a lack of volunteers, and the controversial show 'Who Wants to be an Immigrant?' has become wildly popular. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Gypsy Witchester's national animal is the Octopus, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is The Temple of Milo, and its currency is the Grape.
