The government has adopted a "Lightning Never Strikes Twice" approach to dealing with natural disasters, an increasing percentage of the population's youth have homosexual parents, the latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller, and skateparks can be found in every city. Crime is totally unknown. Grellania's national animal is the Nakkadile, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Morality, and its currency is the Grellanian Credit.

Grellania is ranked 26th in International Democratic Union and 18,349th in the world for Healthiest Citizens, with 7 Standard Bananas Ingested per capita per day.
