The Kingdom of Governmentum is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by Supreme Comrade with an iron fist, and renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 14.001 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Uranium Mining industry.

The government is seen to favor Catholics, military spending is on the increase, innocent people are routinely stoned to death by frenzied lynch mobs, and murder rates are on the rise as the popularity of soylent products grows. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Governmentum's national animal is the wingnut, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is a major religion, and its currency is the aging.

Governmentum is ranked 8th in The North Pacific and 311th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 17 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
