The 400 ft tall lizard of Godzillas Tokyo is a colossal, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Gojira with a fair hand, and notable for its museums and concert halls. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 6.962 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, liberal individuals juggles the competing demands of Education, Commerce, and Social Welfare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Monster Isle. Income tax is unheard of. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Euthanasia is legal, 'The Anti-Government Hour' is a popular programme on many of Godzillas Tokyo's radio stations, violently opinionated speakers can be heard preaching their hateful views on every street corner, and public footpaths are being slowly eroded by the burgeoning number of ramblers. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Godzillas Tokyo's national animal is the godzillasaurus, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the bambi.
