A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Tourism and Trout Farming.

Corporations donate huge sums of money to favored politicians, elections have become procedural nightmares due to voters persistently rejecting candidates, a weakened police force struggles to maintain law and order, and extreme political groups are outlawed. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Glasgia's national animal is the Wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Glaswegian Chip.
