The Manifest Destiny of Genesis Era is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Chancellor Via Higa with an even hand, and notable for its museums and concert halls. Its hard-nosed population of 3.267 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Education, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Cetraport City. The average income tax rate is 86%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

Photographers can be found hiding behind the curtains in Chancellor Via Higa's bedroom, the government now pays the "Really Awesome Super Heroes" (RASH) to catch evildoers, hundreds of thousands of convicts work as slaves in Genesis Era's many privately-owned prisons, and Genesis Era-made cars tend to catch fire in people's driveways. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Genesis Era's national animal is the Phoenix, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Tropelogy, and its currency is the Rinascita.

Genesis Era is ranked 41,324th in the world for Most Politically Free, scoring 62 on the Diebold Election Inking Scale.
