The Celtic Federation of Gandhapura is a colossal, genial nation, ruled by Guillermo I with an even hand, and renowned for its anti-smoking policies. Its compassionate population of 7.893 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Education, although the Environment and Social Equality are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Atlantipolis. The average income tax rate is 91%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The government is making attempts at curtailing the flood of spam emails with little progress, politicians are often found scavenging bins at night to supplement their income, all forms of advertising are banned, and crime is on the rise as DNA sampling has been all but outlawed. Crime is totally unknown. Gandhapura's national animal is the giraffe, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the gold star.

Gandhapura is ranked 4th in Groland and 2,112th in the world for Healthiest Citizens, with 16 Standard Bananas Ingested per capita per day.
