The Knuckle Dragging Cavemen of G l o g is a gargantuan, devout nation, remarkable for its keen interest in outer space. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 12.462 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

The small, pro-business government is mainly concerned with Defence, although Commerce and Law & Order are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of cave. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 4%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Suppression of pro-democracy protests is a daily occurrence, military service is compulsory, G l o g's newly-famous raindances to summon storms instead attract tourists from all over Final Fantasy, and the government's only official statement on the burning down of cave was that 'they shouldn't have been so careless'. Crime is a major problem. G l o g's national animal is the Smilodon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Shiny Bead.

G l o g is ranked 1st in Final Fantasy and 3,246th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 7 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
