Overview • PeopleGovernmentEconomyTrendAnalysis

The United States of Freie-Mosel is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Vladimir Alenko with an even hand, and renowned for its strong anti-business politics. Its compassionate population of 1.607 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Equality, and Defence. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Kalbourg. The average income tax rate is 97%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Inheritance tax has recently been abolished, citizens are expected to be proficient in at least five languages, commercial jingles have been ham-handedly forced into world renowned symphonies, and government officials have to mortgage their homes to make ends meet. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Freie-Mosel's national animal is the Minou, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Christianism, and its currency is the Clad.

Freie-Mosel is ranked 5th in The United Nations of Canton de Pange and 99,522nd in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -8 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
