Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 3.648 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of North Vandea. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 65%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Gambling industry.

Teenagers across the country are celebrating the defeat of a national curfew bill, laws are littered with references to cheese, cyber-crime and tin-foil hat sales are both increasing at record rates, and a well-funded social safety net protects the unfortunate. Crime is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Freedom10's national animal is the Big Fat Panda, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Islam, and its currency is the Aho.
