The United Democratic Empire of Frache is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Shinigami Ben Dziewietin with an even hand, and remarkable for its complete lack of prisons. Appendix transplant figures have recently doubled, the government's new 'Crime Can Fight Itself' policy appears to be backfiring rather badly, the police have reaffirmed their tough stance on drugs, and the welfare administration's new sweeping authority has forced the poor and needy to shop from pre-approved grocery lists. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Frache's national animal is the Siberian Tiger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Yen.
