The Republic of Fire is a massive, pleasant nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. People who have good jobs and work quietly at them are lauded; others are viewed with suspicion.

The upper class have been throwing riots after hunting was recently banned, the country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry, all beauty contests have been banned, and government police forces protect public schools from the threat of protest. Crime is moderate. Fire's national animal is the Blue Angel, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Flame.
