The Republic of Findia is a gargantuan, cultured nation, ruled by D-Rath with a fair hand, and notable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 11.895 billion love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Education, although Social Welfare and Healthcare are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of New Caladan. The average income tax rate is 85%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.

Political parties are banned from advertising and receiving private donations, military spending is on the increase, Findia's children are widely acknowledged as the most foul-mouthed in the region, and businesses are forced to bring all work back within the nation’s borders. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Findia's national animal is the Penguin, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Direct exprnce of Supreme Consciousness, and its currency is the Rupka.
