Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 8.991 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Malum Pravus. The average income tax rate is 95%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling industry, followed by Tourism and Arms Manufacturing.

Members of Parliament operate under a PAYE scheme, schools have extensive counseling programs for troubled students, priests are being drafted by the church load, and the new hit series "Fidisi's Got Trauma" has corporate executives fleeing the country. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Fidisi's national animal is the Tiger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Darwinism, and its currency is the Solidus.
