The D'Dareian Republic of Feryx is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Claudius Aegidius with an even hand, and renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed population of 4.404 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is effectively ruled by the Department of Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Undryuem. The average income tax rate is 37%, but much higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Automobile Manufacturing and Uranium Mining.

Politicians accepting drinks in bars are executed for taking bribes, Feryx's army is full of two-metre tall super-soldiers, traffic jams are a common sight due to construction work from a massive overhaul of the nation's freeways, and citizens must pay to enjoy Feryx's pristine beaches. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force. Feryx's national animal is the Passeridae, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Chrislam, and its currency is the Argent.

Feryx is ranked 18th in League of Governments and 116,384th in the world for Most Eco-Friendly Governments, scoring -5 on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness Index.
