The Constitutional Monarchy of Federation of Ceas is a massive, genial nation, ruled by The Federal Government with a fair hand, and remarkable for its punitive income tax rates. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 2.851 billion are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whoever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, the Environment, and Social Welfare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Augustus. The average income tax rate is 83%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Abortions are routinely performed in Federation of Ceas's hospitals, surveillance cameras are banned, almost half of the child population live rough on the streets, and fewer people are bathing as citizens must show ration stamps before they can turn on their faucets. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is a major problem, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Federation of Ceas's national animal is the Sable Antelope, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Pound.

Federation of Ceas is ranked 4th in Africa and 3,624th in the world for Largest Welfare Programs, scoring 114 on the Safety Net Mesh Density Rating.
